Eodromaeus is an early forerunner of the theropods, or meat-eating dinosaurs. With its sabre-shaped teeth and sharp-clawed hands, Eodromaeus was a very capable predator, chasing down small or young reptiles. Judging from the length of its hind limbs, it would have been slightly faster than Eoraptor in a footrace.
