The small skeleton of Eoraptor was found during Dr. Paul Sereno’s 1991 expedition to Argentina. Eoraptor is the world’s most primitive dinosaur. Ash beds discovered near Eoraptor allowed Sereno’s team to determine the age of this early dinosaur.
